URL Schemes and Siri voice shortcuts to Command iNet from Other Apps

Last update 2019/06/01

With Siri voice shortcuts you can record spoken commands to let iNet perform tasks like scanning or wake on lan. URLs can be used by other Apps to command iNet in the same way.

Record Siri Shortcuts

A Siri button is displayed at different places within iNet. Tapping on this button lets you record a voice command for the task you are currently performing (e. g. scanning, ping,...).

After recording the Siri button will be hidden. You can reactivate the button every time via the iNet settings (available from the main menu) if you want to record another phrase.

URL Schemes

You can send commands to iNet with special formed URL links.

A link consists of two parts: An app specific keyword followed by "://" followed by a keyword for the task you want to perform.

Every version of iNet has its own specific keyword(s):

App 1st Keyword
